I was CONTACTed by a sick ***k, under the guise of Dhaval Vyas, a few days ago telling me about the availability of a spacious apartment. I was within an inch of making a payment to this douchebag. The email & chat messages were seeming so legitimate that I almost was trapped. My bit of scam-related pieces of training I had undergone previously really saved me today. I became dubious when he had sent his Zelle money transfer, which was registered with somebody else. Then it occurred to me to search for the address on Google maps. It took me to not-so-high-end apartments, which corroborated my suspicion. Then I immediately asked him if I could pay a visit to his apartment. He, then, immediately started dodging my requests. Then I called and chided him for scamming people. I am going to go and press charges against this ###. DON’T FALL FOR SUCH SICK ###. Scam on Sulekha is rampant. The platform has to do a better job in this respect.
