Kesari Tours is Grievances no clarity on the information provided

I Pradeep G. Sane, I.R.S., Assistant Commissioner (Retd) from Customs & Central Excise Department residing at Raipur (Chhattisgarh), and presently legal consultant of Taxation matters of same department. That I am a Regular customer of your esteemed organisation ‘Kesari” and in past did two tours of Kerala and Singapore Malaysia. As I was interested to do the ‘Chardham’ yatra trakhand, through your company, accordingly I contacted/searched the details from your company’s sight as well from your Bhilai’s agent namely ‘Welcome Tours and Services’. After going through the itinerary of tour code ‘01 170523 Uttaranchal Chardham’ it was found to be as per my choice, therefore, I confirmed my booking by paying amount as intimated. But before start of tour and during tour following major irreparable irregularities had been noticed resulting which I lost my faith from company as detailed herein under-
1. As per the program given in the itinerary the guest were required to assemble at Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway station (outside platform No.1, Near Amul Cold drink shop at 11 AM. (For guest coming directly to Dehradun by flight, they shall be collected from Dehradun Air port). Accordingly I booked my Air tickets from Raipur to Delhi for 17.05.2023 by morning flight. But two day before the departure date i.e. 17.05.23, I received a call from one shri Pradeep Savant who apprised me that he is the tour Manager for this program and straight way directed that you must report to Dehradun Air port on 17.5.2023. I was very much shocked and totally disturbed through the amendment as there is no direct flight from Raipur to Dehradun. In such event there was only option left with me either to cancel the already booked flight thickets or go for fresh Air tickets from Raipur to Dehradun (Via Delhi or Mumbai), resulting huge loss of money. I appraised this situation over phone to shri Pradeep Savant, but he failed to sort out this solvable problem. Resulting which on reaching to Delhi, I booked a Cab from Delhi to Haridwar and made payment of Rs.6500/-from own pocket.
1.1 Since as per itinerary I was to report at Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway station only, the extra expenses incurred for reaching to Haridwar as well as expenses incurred during transit are liable to be reimbursed by the company as has been done in case of one other Guests of same tour.
2. It is on record that as per the informed program there was one night stay at Shri Kedarnath on 23.05.2023, but on reaching to Sitapur it was informed that there are no arrangement for night stay at Kedarnath, therefore the Guests are required either to come back to Sitapur on same day or if they desire to stay there (forced stay due to climatic condition), they should make their own arrangement of stay and food at their cost. Resultantly I was forced to make payment for stay as well as for Dinner for myself and my wife. Hence the expenses incurred are also liable to be reimbursed by the company as has been done in other cases of same tour.
Sir, looking to the afforsaid step brother treatment with me and favour given to other guests, I am very much disturbed with the attitude of the company which gave me mental agony and distress resulting which I could not get full enjoyment during entire tour as such attitude hurt me as well as to my wife very deeply. Such irresponsible, inattentive, unobservant and uncooperative attitude of the company may cause heavy damage and loss to such a reputed company and lose faith of Public as they failed to maintain public’s faith from the attitude adopted. It is therefore expected that such sort of favored treatment to some Guest and step brothers treatment to some another guests should not repeated in future.
I know the names of guests (of this tour only) to whom special treatment (reimbursement of expenses) had been given as well as names with whom such step brother’s treatment was made/done.
In view of the above it is requested to take suitable necessary action in the matter which must be sort out immediately and outcome of it may please be informed to me within 15 days.
Once again I reiterate that such non cooperative attitude and step brother’s treatment particularly with the senior citizens and special treatment with the favored Guest may damage the image/reputation of the reputed company. The aforsaid attitude/treatment may give a heavy irrevocable damage to company if it is brought to the notice of players of similar trade, Media as well as to other concerned.
Once upon a time Kesari was one of the most reliable tour operators. But now they have become unreliable tour operators. They are loosing their valuable customers by their unprofessional behavior. This dishonest behavior from a reputed firm like Kesari tours is totally unacceptable. There is no clarity on the information they provide.
I feel that your organisation may take this issue very seriously and resolve the problem. I am ready to have a detailed conversion over if desires. The undersigned assure for all co-operation in the matter.
