Laptop vostro 3400 is heating on backside of webcam.
the story line is as under;
1. Ticket was raised for reason being – When ever the Charging pin was inserted to the laptop socket its green light i.e. light on charger was was getting and hence laptop was completely dead.
2. On the technician did come to the office and found out that the problem is something else and hence Motherboard, Screen and Touch Pad need to be replaced. for which the technician himself done the ordering part on his own on the very same day.
3. On Technician had come and replaced the parts.
4. On an email was received at 17:50 was received for updation on the service to which reply was made and issue of over heating was reported from end user @ 18:24 of the very same day.
5. Since many people have called for closure of earlier ticket even though I was telling them that new issue of over heating has arrived which seems to be completely UNSAFE and is completely hampering my Daily work.
6. Seeing no reply from people whosoever were calling we raised a new request which has linkage to Earlier Service Request mentioned above. In response to which drive update link was shared on the very same day.
7. On CPU & GPU Temperature checking software shared via email, on which we replied with requisite screen shots.
8. After checking the screen shots people have called back and were saying its a application issue so we are closing the Ticket.
Please note we have mentioned that it is a heating on the back side of screen to be exact it on the very back side of web-cam and not complete laptop heating. And it is occurring since the day the hardware have been changed and in between we haven’t installed any of the new applications.
We desire to close this issue in next 48hrs as it has already taken 22 Days since the inception which completely unethical on grounds of Safety & Day to Day Work blockage.
