I recently bought a used car (Swift) from m s finance (Chembur, Mumbai). While taking a test drive, things were fine. However, on the day of taking delivery, the speedometer (Incl. Indicators, km and speed meter and headlights) was not working properly. They told us that they had checked the car yesterday and everything was fine and probably the rat must have cut the wire in the night. We trusted them and bought the car in good faith as they had promised that car is perfectly fine. When we gave the car to the mechanic, he told us that the entire wiring was in a mess and due to direct wiring, the bcm got burned. Now I have to incur additional rs.20, 000 to clear this thing and the dealer is not responding at all. This rs.20, 000 is in additional to repairs of rs.10, 000 that I have already made inorder to clear small small issues.
I would like to seek a refund for the repair cost from the dealer. The dealer has done fraud and intentionally misguided us on the date of taking the car’s delivery.
