First of all, I would like to inform you all that oio, it’s agent Ankit and ceo Rajeev are farudsters and cheaters. We booked Maldives package from them and they cheated us by giving wrong information. When we got to know about those issues and asked agent Ankit about those issues he assured that there is no such issue. We were told that speed boat runs every hour to the resort from the airport which takes 1-1.5 hours to reach resort and we asked our agent to confirm that from resort as well and he told as that he has confirmed that speed boat runs every hour and it takes 1-1.5 hours but when we landed there we were informed that the boat leaves at 11 am and 5 pm, we landed there at 11;15 am and our immigration got completed by 11;45. When we reached at resort’s counter we were surprised to know that the next boat is at 5 pm and we have to wait for 5 hours and we will reach resort by 7;30 – 8 pm in the night, icing on the cake is we were not given any refreshment as well. When I confronted our tour agent about that he said that sir don’t worry, I’ll make sure that you go by seaplane but all in vain and nothing happened. On top of all that we got information from resort that resort has not received payment so we will not be allowed to the resort until the payment is madde whereas we had paid it to the travel agent in advance. I informed it to ceo Rajeev and he made the payment to resort by 2;30 pm but when I told him about all the misinformation given to us and the wrong expectation set by Ankit, he justified it by saying that agents give wrong information sometime and he can’t do anything about it.
When we reached resort and checked with them, they informed us that boat timings are communicated to agents and tour operators in advance and they also informed us that we will have to leave by 6 am on the day of checkout as airport is far. Then I requested Ankit again to get us upgraded to seaplane and he promised to do that as compensation but he stopped responding.
So, we went through a lot of physical, mental harassment on a trip which was supposed to be leisure. If we were given the right information, we would have taken alternative filghts or would have taken any other resort as per our travel plan.
